May 2010

Fiber artist Pat Harris of Anchorage, AK, was a guest at the May TAGY meeting. She and her husband plan to retire in Cody in a couple of years. His mother was from Cody. Pat is also a member of the Fast Friday Fabric Challenge and was the guest host of this group in April with the "Under the Sea" challenge. Welcome Pat!






The program for the May meeting was given by Jeanne. She brought lots of scraps, magazines, threads, buttons, glue, etc. for making collage. Marybeth donated fiberboard backings even though she couldn't be here this month. (We had lots of fun Marybeth, sorry you missed it!)





The photo on the right are Barbara, Jeanne, and Lili working on their collage.
Below are some of the collages in their unfinished state. We will bring the finished ones next month.

    I would like to thank you all for your warm, welcoming hospitality and look forward to joining your group in the next couple of years.

    I had an enjoyable afternoon and have my inspirational collage to keep me motivated! Hope it works.

    You are a fun group with a variety of interesting projects. Keep it up.
