Announcements:

Challenge due at the January 2024 meeting/potluck from Pam H.:

Do something with a dot! This leaves it wide open as the dot is the starting point of a design. Can dots be bubbles? In my mind yes! Just have fun and experiment! So...even if you were not at this meeting, you can still do the challenge!

The Pear/Pair/Pare quilts are back from First National Bank in Powell.

First National Bank will allow us to hang quilts again in January.  We will hang our ZOOM challenge quilts.  Bring yours to the January meeting and Barb M. will hang them at the bank.

January 8th Holiday Potluck Meeting:  It's a holiday potluck!  Bring a dish to share.  If you wish to participate in the optional gift exchange, bring a gift!  The gift theme is BUBBLY.  Your gift should be handmade and somehow relate to bubbles or bubbly or such. (loose interpretations are allowed!)

Marie S-J has an exhibit at the Cody Country Art League.  Go and see her beautiful art!  Congratulations Marie!

2024 Program Sign Up Sheet:  Sign to present a program next year.  It doesn't have to be quilting, but just something fun and/or creative!  Sign up with a buddy if you don't want to go it alone.  We need Feb., March, June, Sept., Nov., and Dec.

Many TAGY members have lunch in the Pardners Cafe prior to the meeting.  This is the cafe Christmas tree.

How dots change the look of the fabric.

The vinyl painted with marker so you can see your design.  Then punched with holes, then put onto organza, ironed, and duct taped around the edges.

After and before...how dots change the look.

Dots!!!

Pam H.'s very cool!

Another shape to cut on the screen.

Helpful books.  There is quite a glare on photos from the overhead lights! Ugh!

Pam H. is enamored with dots.

Screen technique is from QA Issue 53/October/November 2011

Stencils to use.

We completed our screens but have not used them YET.  Now for the challenge due at the January meeting from Pam:
Do something with a dot which leaves it wide open as the dot is the starting point of a design.
Can dots be bubbles? In my mind yes! Just have fun and experiment!

The End!
