In June we had 13 members and three guests present at the TAGY meeting. Kathy Hammond drove up from Thermopolis and joined us. Sue Blakey told us about Wyoming Fiber Trails which is a database of information about fiber artists in Wyoming. She encouraged us to go to the web site and complete the on-line survey. If you haven't done this yet, the web site is http://wyomingfibertrails.org/ Click on Fiber Artist Survey at the top of the page. Sue is documenting those who work with fiber, including art quilters.
Kathy L has photos in Wyoming Wildlife magazine this month. She will also be a quilt judge in MQX Seattle this year. Yeah, Kathy! She told us about an exhibit of 32 quilts called "Color Journey" that will be available for display during Yellowstone Quilt Fest (YQF).
Jeanne is the National Quilt Association's Spotlight quilter for June. Throughout the month, her photo and quilts can be viewed on line at www.nqaquilts.org
The program this month was to hang our art quilts at the US Bank in Cody. They will remain on display until July 9th.
Our Under the Sea quilts will be on exhibit at Quilt Wyoming July 15-19 in Sheridan, then will be displayed the Park County Fair.
