January 2019

Fourteen members and guests were present at out New Year's pot luck lunch, and there was a wide variety of tasty treats available. Thank you all for bringing the goodies, and braving the snow and sleet to get to Cody.

This was a relaxed meeting with lots of visiting and catching up with this fun and talented group of ladies.

Seven members participated in the beautiful hand-made gift exchange with a Fortune cookies theme.  There was also a door prize of a Fortune cookie maker which was won by Alice.
Next year's Holiday party theme will be "Plaid" as suggested by Karling. And the following year will be "Everything Old is New Again".

Several members brought Show & Tell items and others had Tells to share.
Zann brought information about an upcoming musical play in Cody to be held at Cassie's in late January.  Jeannie told about her quilts that will soon be published in the OURstory book, and be on display around the country.  She also submitted a magazine article to the SAQA quarterly about the quilts we made for the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center.

Zann will present the February program on surface embroidery and requests we bring Sharps needles to the Feb 4th meeting.  She will provide thread, or you may bring your own.
