December 2019

The TAGY meeting was held on December 2nd with 12 members and 2 guests present. The guests were Pam's relations from Alaska.

Members are reminded that our Christmas Party will be held at the January meeting.  "Plaid" is the theme for handmade gifts to be exchanged.  If you bring a gift, you get a gift.  If you don't wish to exchange gifts, please come to the meeting anyway and enjoy seeing the handmade items.

Also in January, our first monthly challenge of the New Year is due, titled "Bird's-eye View".  See the monthly challenges to the right of this message.

Our Yearly Challenge is "My Own Inspiration" and is listed to the right under "Links"

Send your ideas for future programs to Jeanne Knudsen.

Alice brought books to give away.

Judy showed the Wyoming State Quilt Guild newsletter with an article about Jeanne K's "Herstory" quilt in Houston.

Jan H and Carol Shepard showed a child's knitted hat with a handmade flower decoration.

Jan W told us about a Thank You to Wyoming donors from the quilters of Paradise, California.  Both our TAGY group and our Paintbrush Piecers' Quilt Guild sent sewing supplies after the devastating fires last year.
Jan also reminded members of the Christmas Party at Friends and Company this coming Saturday with food, games, and prizes.

Judy gave the program and we all made beautiful Needle Cases.
Thank you Judy for providing all the supplies needed for this project.
