The
October 2, 2023 TAGY meeting was held in the U.W. Extension office meeting room
#2070 in the Park County Complex Building. There were 19 members/guest: Pam H,
Jan W, Jeanne, Carol B, Barbara M, Sue B, Rusty, Lili, Laura, Ben, Judy,
Ginger, Alice, Ellen D, Pam M, Vanda, Colleen, Susie, and Lori.
Pair/Pear/Pare: Brief discussion on
possible venues for our Pair, Pear, Pare challenge. Members are checking on two
possible places in Powell and the Meeteetse Museum during the annual Christmas
stroll.
The November program:
Jan W, Sue B, and Lori will feature collage quilts with tips and tricks using
Steam a Seam, a fusible product.
November challenge is
discarded thread. Pam H brought two boxes of old thread and passed examples of
how she has used thread for embellishments or making fabric using a variety of
techniques.
Today's Program: Barbara M with help from Laura
showed us Iris Paper Piecing. Barbara did a tremendous amount of work to make
this a fun and entertaining program.
