December 1, 2025

 FOURTEEN lovely ladies and ONE very well-behaved child attended the TAGY meeting on December 1, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the Grizzly Room at the Cody Library:  Alice, Sue, Pam, Jan W., Barb P., Cyndy, Carol, Vanda, Ben, Barb M., Laura G., Susie, Judy, Jane W. (guest), Kathy L. (guest), Jan H., Karling and "KitCat."

Announcements:

  • Barb M. reserved the walls of 1st Bank of Wyoming in Powell for July 2026, for our annual challenge quilts, "Haiku."
  • Barb M. and Laura G. took down the Map Quilts and distributed them at this meeting.
  • The Map Quilts will be hung at the Cody Library before/after the January meeting.  Barb M. will let us know the plan!
  • Please sign up to provide a program in 2026!  You can sign up now and figure out what you are going to do at a later date!
  • Bloedorn has a scissor sharpening service.  Drop your scissors off there for service.
  • Lyric Montgomery Kinnard has a good video on beading.  This is just one of them: Bead It Like You Mean It, online class with Lyric Kinard, how to sew beads on a quilt 
  • ANNUAL POT LUCK:  The next meeting is January 5th at NOON in the Grizzly Room.  This is our annual holiday party potluck.  Bring a dish to share.  OPTIONAL:  Gift exchange.  The theme is "container."  This gift must be made by you!  If you give a gift, you get one.  NO WORRIES if you don't want to participate in the gift exchange!  Come and eat and socialize!  The food is always delicious and the conversation stimulating!
