FIFTEEN wonderful women attended today's meeting in Room 2070 of the Park County Complex Building: Jeanne, Jan W., Barb P., Jan H., Karling, Carol, Ben, Judy, Lili, Cyndy, Barb H., Ginger, Laura G., Barb M. and Vanda.
Announcements:
8th Street at the Ivy is taking donations for recovery from the hurricane disaster in Jamaica.
There is a weaving exhibit at Carbon County Arts Guild in Red Lodge, MT, until November 15, 2025.
Map Quilts will be hung in Powell First Bank by Barb M. and Laura G. They will be hung at the Cody Library in January 2026.
Plaza Diane Quilt Show in Powell: TAGY was well represented. Get ready for the 2027 show. It will be for art made in the last 2 years. Jane Woods is the organizer.
There are no monthly challenges for next year.
The Christmas/New Year party theme is "Containers." You may exchange a gift if you like but it is not mandatory.
Haiku is the 2026 Annual Challenge. There are no size restrictions. Likely due in July 2026.
Karling will provide the December program. Bring colored pencils.
Jan H. will provide bi-monthly news articles for the Wyoming State Quilt Guild publication, "PatchWords." Cyndy will be her contact.
Quilt Wyoming will be in Powell, July 9-12, 2026.
Barb M. will contact newspapers regarding our exhibits.
