YQF Update: Ginny Singer from the NW Region of the Wyoming State Quilt Guild (WSQG) talked
about the Yellowstone Quilt Fest (YQF) coming up July 29 & 30 at the Riley
Arena. Quilts will be hung July 28th. She invited the TAGY members to
submit quilts to the show, and passed out forms for entry etc. Ginny
reminded the guild that the TAGY Challenge quilts require no entry
fee and would be displayed together as an Exhibit.
[Note: As in the past, TAGY is responsible for the signage for our exhibit, as
well as hanging and take-down of the exhibit. This exhibit does not require YQF
entry forms.]
Quilts entered into the YQF judged show will require a $5 entry fee. Other
quilts entered for Display Only require a $3 entry fee. The entry fees will be
used for prizes for winning quilts. The entry rules and forms are available
on-line at https://www.yellowstonequiltfest.info/YQF/index.html
.
WSQG also sponsors Quilt Wyoming, which will be held in Sheridan this year July
13-17. Ginny passed out brochures and encourages TAGY members to join the State
Guild. More info at www.wsqg.org.
Annual Challenge: Members were reminded
that this year’s TAGY Challenge is “Close Up or Zoom In” and is due on or
before the July TAGY meeting. More info under “Links” at the right of
this page.
Show and Tell/January Monthly Challenge: Pam began the Show

Monthly Program: Lili gave the program, providing crayons & colored pencils with hand-outs
asking “How have you AMAZED yourself? We were asked to scribble, play and name what fills us with JOY. “Remember to delight yourself first - then
others will be Truly Delighted” inspiration by Martha Graham. We all learned a little bit more about each other, which was great!
As usual, Show and Tell was AMAZING thanks to our talented members.
